To explore QTLs conferring brown planthopper in highly resistant rice variety PTB33 to a rice serious pest insect brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens), short-read data for genotyping-by-sequencing of genomic DNA double-digested by restricted enzymes (KpnI and MspI) in backcrossed populations derived from a cross between susceptible Japonica rice variety Taichung 65 (T65) and resistant Indica rice variety PTB33.
